The Avante was released in 1988 as the best 4WD buggy model. Using the know-how gained from racing, the Avante was redesigned as a race-only car, and the Egress was developed with the aim of winning races, using carbon plates used in F1 and aircraft, ball differentials, large-capacity oil dampers, and even lightweight, expensive titanium screws.
